            BACK PAIN
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that are caused by mechanical dysfunction of the joints, and their effects on the nervous system. Chiropractors use their hands to adjust joints, the spine and other parts of the body where restricted movement is experienced. These adjustments improve mobility and relieve pain by restoring normal function to the patient's body.
Chiropractors treat patients for:
- Neck pain
- Back pain
- Headaches and migraines
- Hip, leg, knee and foot problems
- Shoulder, arm, and wrist problems
At Buffalo Grove Chiropractic Center, our focus is both preventative care and the treatment of pre-existing conditions. We offer three stages of care for all of our patients—relief, curative and prevention.

Relief
The primary goal of the relief stage of care is to provide the patient with symptomatic relief.

Curative
In the curative stage, the aim is to identify and cure the problems that contributed to the initial pain, and to rehabilitate the damaged tissues. This stage is vital to complete recovery from the source of the pain.

Preventative
Once a patient's condition has normalized we recommend that periodic spinal checkups with a chiropractor become routine. This stage of treatment may also include adjunctive care including therapeutic massage, exercises and stretches.
